Welcome to Love to Breathe
My name is Somer Love, my brother Shane McNeill created this website for me, we want to thank you for visiting Love to Breathe. Love to Breathe was created so we could give hope to families with newly diagnosed children. I believe it is important to educate and raise awareness about CF whenever I can.
I try to live each day to the fullest by keeping my hope high, and dreams big!! I am a 30 year old adult living with Cystic Fibrosis, and I am an active advocate in the CF community. Being diagnosed at 11 months old I was unable to make my own decisions. However, I am fortunate enough to have fabulous parents who chose to help fight my disease. When I was old enough I adopted my parents philosophy and joined the fight. My ultimate goal in life is to have CF stand for CURE FOUND!!
"65 Roses" is what some children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) call their disease because the words are much easier to pronounce.
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and young adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). A defective gene and its protein product cause the body to produce unusually thick sticky mucus. All of this information and more can be found at http://www.cff.org/AboutCF/.
